Soul Reaver 2 Arrived On GOG!!!

It seems that GOG are on a role delivering the good for the creatures of Nosgoth. They have aquire and release Soul reaver 2

I know you young-ins are thinking it looks dated and too old to be awesome but no one gives a shit, it’s Soul reaver!

The game picks up where the original left off, with raziel thrown through the Chronoplast time portal in his relentless pursuit of Kain.  Hell bent on seeking revenge, Raziel must unearth the mysteries of Nosgoth’s ancient races, expose the machinations behind the corruption of the Pillars, and the vampire genocide. Throughout the game, Raziel acquires numerous new abilities, weapon enhancements, and spells, all of which are critical to the completion of his epic adventure.

Orcs Must Die 2 Gets Release Date

According to Robot Entertainment, the release date for Orcs Must Die 2 is July 30th.

If you own the original game you will unlock special content in the sequel, aswell as a new campaign, more enemies and a new upgrade system.

River City Ransom

River City Ransom has inspired the likes of Castle Crashers and even more obviously, Scott Pilgrim: The Game. It was made and published by Technos Japan, a developer noted for it’s beat em’ ups. Many of these are from the same series, which was heavily Americanised for the western video game markets. They also developed Nintendo World Cup on the Game Boy and NES. River City Ransom also became something of a cult hit among NES gamers, and a remake was released for the GBA years later. There is now a version available on the Virtual Console too. But despite this, the game is still very much unknown to many people.

Out to Lunch

The early 1990’s were something of a transitional period for gaming. Most games were arcade style shooters, beat em’ ups or platformers. The legacy of arcade cabinets and their domination of the games industry in the 1980’s left a lasting impression on games in the early 90’s. Many games were designed to be easy to pick up and play, so as to encourage people to keep pumping coins into the slot. Out to Lunch (Or Pierre le Chef’s Out to Lunch, to give it it’s Amiga name) is no exception, but with the added focus of being an educational game about food. Out to Lunch was released on the SNES in 1993 by recently defunct UK developer and publisher Mindscape, before being ported to the Amiga the following year.
